In the middle of the night, Derrick is strolling home, when he is chased and gunned down in an alley by a former enemy. Facing an impending death, a mysterious sword strikes the ground in front of him, fallen from the sky. He unearths the sword and is revitalized by the “essences of Onyx”, and the environment transforms as well, firearms are traded in for weapons of close quarters combat.
